About the author: Pedro Santos

I am PhD student in the ProcESS department at KU Leuven, researching how to incorporate process simulators (mainly Aspen Hysys) in interactive games and simulations for education. Previously I worked as a researcher in process optimization and control, and I believe that virtual tools can serve a similar role within education, allowing teachers to better monitor the learning of their students and address the individual needs of each of them.
