About the author: Dr. Martina Orefice

Martina Orefice works as postdoctoral researcher in the SOLVOMET group at KU Leuven, Belgium on the solvometallurgical extraction and separation of metals,. She is currently engaged in the H2020-RIA-TARANTULA project. In the same research group, Martina obtained her PhD in Chemistry in June 2019 (MSCA PhD project: https://etn-demeter.eu/). Formerly she obtained a MEng in Chemical Engineering (2015), a BEng in Chemical Engineering (2012) and a BSc in Environmental Sciences (2010), all at University of Naples (Italy) Federico II), her birth-city. Passionate for environmental issues thanks to a board game from her childhood, Martina aims to be a professional in critical raw materials and circular economy.
