About the author: Natalia Pires Martins

Natália Pires Martins is a Brazilian engineer born in 1994. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (2016) from Universidade Federal da Paraiba, Brazil, and a Master’s Degree in Materials Science and Engineering (2019) from the same institution. In February 2019, Natália joined the Chair of Sustainable Construction at ETH Zürich as a PhD student involved in the ETN project SULTAN. Her work is supervised by Dr. Guillaume Habert and is focused on the development of a green cement based on sulfidic mining tailings.
